"Go Go! Gryffindor!"

"Shake 'em up, Slytherin!"

"And welcome, students of Hogwarts, to the first Quidditch game of the year, Gryffindor versus
Slytherin! I'm Will Clearwater, and I`ll be your commentator for this afternoon. Gryffindor
has put together a very strategic side up, with French, Tan and Wood in defense, as well as
McDougal, McDougal and McGonnagall in offense, and last but not least, Kavanaugh as
Gryffindor's seeker. It's a good side this year. Slytherin have decided to play strength as
always, with Keeper Williams, Chasers Flint, Smith and Karldip, Beaters Johns and Ruth, and
Seeker Fulton-Boote. It'll be a tough game between the two houses!!! And Madam Hooch Steps out
on the pitch to release the balls and start the game."

Cheers resound throughout the Quidditch pitch.

"Gryffindor starts off with possession of the Quaffle, adopting the Yeluo 53 formation, from
McDougal to McGonnagall to McDougal and back again, and Gryffindor scores!"

Crazed screaming sprouts from the Gryffindors, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff.

"Slytherin Chaser Flint has the Quaffle, and passes to Karldip, who passes back to Flint who
attempts to put it past Gryffindor's new recruit, Wood, but fails.Gryffindor in possession."

Flint remains in the scoring area, and hits Wood using Ruth's club at a Bludger. Wood falls to
the ground.

"And Gryffindor score for the ninth time! Slytherin Chasers Karldip and Smith are intercepted
by McDougal, who passes on to McDougal, who puts it past Williams for a tenth time! Slytherin
regains possession, and attempts to score at the unmanned Gryffindor goal, to be intercepted by
McGonnagall, who passes on to McDougal, who gains a lot of ground and passes on the Quaffle to
McDougal, who scores a wonderful goal, making the score: Gryffindor-One hundred and ten,
Slytherin-zero."

Slytherin jeers loudly as the rest of the school screams its approval...

./././././././.

Oliver woke up in the hospital wing to the rest of the Gryffindor team's noisy entrance. Captain
of the team, Kristian McDougal, told him what the game's outcome was: Slytherin getting the
Snitch, and Gryffindor only losing out by ten points, for the final score of Gryffindor-one
hundred and forty to Slytherin-one hundred and fifty.

"But hey," quipped James French, "we broke the school's record of most goals, though..."

"It's not the same, though," said Cliff Tan, "we were closest ever to beating Slytherin..."
