1 A TIME BEFORE TIME V

THE LEGEND OF THE GREAT VALLEY IS TOLD

Thunderfoot had grown into a child. She was always curious and asking questions. She one day asked. Thunderfoot: Daddy what is the Great Valley? Heavyfoot: The Great Valley is a wonderful place. Ever since dinosaurs can remember it's been there. In the Great Valley there is enough food to last many herds. There are waterfalls watering holes which sparkle fresh and clean in the sun. To get to the Great Valley you must follow the bright circle past the Great Rock that looks like a longneck and past the mountains that burn. Thunderfoot: Have we ever been to the Great Valley Mother? Amber: No dear we have always lived out here food has always been plentiful enough. Not as much as there is in the Great Valley. Thunderfoot: I want to go there someday! Heavyfoot: Maybe we will Thunderfoot. Thunderfoot: I'm going to go play! By mom, bye dad, Grandma, Grandpa! She went down to play with her siblings and told them about the Great Valley. She happened upon a herd of three-horns. Nikos: Hi! He ran to play but his father stopped him. Heavyfoot: Thunderfoot!? Daddy Topps: Grrrr! Come Nikos what have I told you? Three-horns never play with longnecks! Heavyfoot: Picked up his daughter. Thunderfoot: Dad why can't I play with the three- horn? Heavyfoot: We all keep to our own kinds now a days Thunderfoot it was that way when I was a child. Besides there are plenty of longnecks around to play with. Someday Thunderfoot would pass the same information on to her son Littlefoot and she would meet Daddy Topps again.
