Quidditch

By Shi, Kito, and Iri

Harry could hear the crowd starting to roar once the curtains flew open. It was Gryffindor versus Slytherin, and the Slytherin house had a brand new beater, Alia Qiallie. Alia never hesitated to hit someone, curse someone, or just give them the insult of their life. She would make a great beater, good for the Slytherins, bad for all of the other houses.

Harry stepped onto the field and kicked off quickly on his FireBolt. He noticed the Slytherins doing the same, Harry also noticed Alia giving Malfoy a very stern look as they both took off. Malfoy curved to face Harry, since they were both Seekers, and as Alia glided past them, Harry saw the print on her broomstick, East Echo. The most recent broomstick invented, and not yet released in Britain. It was supposed to fly faster than a short echo, hence its name. Harry came back to Earth when the Snitch caught his eye and Madame Hooch's whistle blew shortly after. Harry eyed around looking for the glint of gold he was to catch and end the game. He saw Malfoy dive, knowing he had seen the Snitch and Harry followed looking frantically for the glint of bright yellow.

"Hey Draco! WHATCH OUT!!!" hollered an unfriendly voice.

Malfoy looked up, realizing someone had just warned him about something, and the moment he did, a metallic black Bludger was hurling towards his cloud-white face, and --

BAM.

The Bludger had hit Malfoy on the forehead like a bull's eye and knocked him off his broom. Alia glided right next to the spot Malfoy had been hit and looked down.

"Eihhh..," she said in a that's-gotta-hurt kind of voice, "Oh, well, no used blubbering over it, back to the game!" and she took a kick to her East Echo and fly off to whack any other Bludgers headed near her team.

The rest of the game went pretty smoothly, except for the few random cries of "WHATCH OUT FOR THAT BLUDGER!!!" coming from Alia's incredibly large voice box, but on the other hand, no one else was hit, and even though she was substituting for Malfoy as Seeker.
