First things first: Pokémon or any of its characters don't belong to me.of course, you probably figured that out yourselves, but still, this way I don't wind up with lawyers breathing down the back of my neck or something. Also, any original characters that come along are property of their creators, so don't steal any of them or you might wind up face to face with a Charizard or something else nasty that's not in a good mood.and we don't want that to happen..DO WE?!?!?!? Good, now that we have all that legal mumbo-jumbo outta the way, let's get on with the story.

The Revenge of the Unown

Prologue: The Coming of Chaos

"Professor Gokk! Over here!"

A new area of the ancient Ruins of Alph, near Violet City, had been uncovered with the aid of a certain trainer hailing from New Bark Town. Ever since that young individual helped unravel some of its secrets, the expedition team was learning more and more about the mysterious writings and who left them there. An old man, yet fully capable of putting up a decent fight, walked over and examined the new writings. He adjusted his glasses and looked them over, muttering to himself. He then looked at his young associate. "Trevor, have you closely examined this?" he asked.

"No, Professor, I thought you might want to take a look before I did anything else."

"Smart lad. Let's see now." The professor once more looked to the writings and read them aloud slowly, "Beware, ye who treads the land, for we shall return from our exile and reclaim the world that is rightfully ours." Blinking, Professor Gokk removed his glasses, gave them a good rubbing, placed them back on his nose and read the words again to himself.

"Who do you think left that, sir?" Trevor asked, looking rather nervous.

"Oh, I'm sure it's nothing to be concerned about, my lad," the professor said, trying to keep his own calm attitude. He squinted as he tried to make out something under the warning, but it was covered in dust. He brushed it aside with his hand and almost immediately, the hieroglyphs began to glow a light blue. Trevor dropped the lantern, which shattered upon impact.

"What's going on?"

"I'm not sure! We had best get out of here!"

Alas, even as they turned to run, a pulse of bluish energy leapt out of a portal that opened suddenly and encased them both in crystal. A number of small, yet strangely shaped creatures emerged and orbited around the two new statues. They hadn't seen a human being in centuries, at least none like these before. Finally, they formed a pair of circles in an empty part of the chamber and began to spin, their "eyes" glowing as they began to create something in the middle. After an hour, the item was another statue of a human male, yet not like the two frozen in place, looks of fear on their faces. It lacked something, the creatures agreed upon, so they dove at it and blended in with it, giving it the spark of life. Almost immediately after the last of the group entered, the new "human" formed some clothing, black in nature, to give him a sort of modern appearance. The man opened his eyes and gazed about, the pale blue of his eyes almost matching the crystal that he once was.

"I await your orders," he said in a low monotone voice, as if deprived of any emotion. Another group of the creatures emerged and chattered in some type of language. All the man did after they finished was bow. "I understand your orders. I shall do as you command.and reclaim this world for the Unown."
