Author's Note: I happen to believe The Last Night of the World form Miss Saigon is the most beautiful song ever written, even more beautiful than Come What May. So sue me.
Summary: Christian is teaching Satine another song for Spectacular Spectacular that wasn't shown to us.

Christian say with Satine in his apartment. They were going over scenes from Spectacular Spectacular. At least that's what they told the Duke. They were doing a little bit of rehearsal but they were mostly just carrying on and having a fun time together. "I've written a new song for the show," he told her.

"Well, sing it to me," she replied.

He sat next to her on his bed, where she was lying on her back with her head resting on the pillow, watching him. He began to sing to her.

"In a place that won't let us feel
In a life where nothing seems real
I have found you, I have found you
In a world that's moving too fast
In a world where nothing can last
I will hold you, I will hold you"

Satine sat up and moved closer to Christian, looking at the music he held in his hands as he sang the words.

"Our lives will change when tomorrow comes"

Satine saw that it was the courtesan's line so she sang it. "Tonight our hearts drown the distant drums."

They were mostly looking at eachother as they sang together, taking in the beauty of the person they loved.

"And we have music alright
Tearing the night
A song played on a solo saxophone
A crazy sound, a lonely sound
A cry that tells us love goes on and on
Played on a solo saxophone
It's telling me to hold you tight
And dance like it's the last night of the world"

Christian smiled at her. She had to the most wonderful voice, she was the most wonderful person he'd ever met. And she loved him. That was the hardest thing to believe. He began singing again:

"On the other side of the earth
There's a place where life still has worth
I will take you"

Satine smiled back at him, singing her next line, "I'll go with you"

"You won't believe all the things you'll see
I know cause you'll see them all with me"

They were getting more and more into it with each word sang. They only took their eyes off of eachother to look at the paper.

"If we're together, well then,
We'll hear it again
A song played on a solo saxophone
A crazy sound, a lonely sound
A cry that tells us love goes on and on
Played on a solo saxophone
It's telling me to hold you tight
And dance like it's the last night of the world."

"Dreams were all I ever knew," Satine sang.

"Dreams you won't need when I'm through," Christian sang in reply. Then they joined together:

"Anywhere we may be
I will sing with you our song
So stay with me and hold me tight
And dance like it's the last night of the world"

Author's Note: Yeah, I know my writing's a little clumsy at times. I wasn't sure how to go about writing this one so I just went for it. What do you think?
