Hello! I am professor R. Hakubi -Second greatest genius in the world!- and I'm here to tell you- my students, about my discovery, the cabbit! A very interesting creature if I do say so myself.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

It was a normal day around my house, My mother was worrying about her crazy inventions, computers, and everything else a mad scientist would worry about, and I was laying in my favorite spot, support beam above the living room, drawing. We had a lake and a carrot patch near the house. I always went out to the carrot patch, and drew interesting animals I saw out there.
"Mom, I think I'm gonna go to the carrot patch for a while." I said jumping off the low beam.
"Ok, just be back before dark, Ryoko-san." my mother replied not taking her eyes away from her computer.
"See ya mom"
"Be home soon Ryoko! Please don't be late this time."
So I grabbed my sketch book, with intentions of finding a new animal to draw, and headed down the path toward the carrot patch. As I walked I examined my drawings; a robin, a blue jay, a very rare glimpse of a beautiful rabbit, and a few cats that hung around there often. I found a rock to sit on, and began to wait for animals. I started to sketch a few carrots because I got bored.
It had been a while and no animals had showed up, and i was about to leave. I stood up and then I heard a sound that sounded like a meow, but not quite
"Miya" it called... I looked around and didn't see anything odd, so I figured it must have been a cat or something, and continued to walk. I walked about 2 more steps and heard a nibbling sound, something was eating a carrot. I turned around and looked out at the carrot patch, and there I saw it. The weirdest looking animal ever! It had big floppy ears and a poofy bunny tail. It was a brownish color, and appeared to have streaks of blue scattered in it's fur. It sat there, with it's big yellowish eyes fixed on the carrot it was eating. It nibbled away, and ate the carrot. When it finished it "meowed" happily, and started to eat another one. it was only about 5 inches tall, but was adorable nonetheless.
'It will probably grow when it gets bigger. It looks like a baby to me,' I thought. I walked over to the animal slowly, being careful not to scare it. I was about a foot away from it..
"Hi there little one!" I said offering it another carrot.
"MIYA!!" It screamed as it tried to bite the carrot, but almost took my finger with it.
"Ow! You little..."
"Mreow..." It said munching away on the carrot. As it ate I took my sketch book and started to draw it..When it was finished with it's 'meal' It purred contentedly and hopped over to me with it's little bunny like feet. It stared at me with it's little eyes for a moment, before shouting, "Miya Miya!" and hopping up onto my head.
"I should give you a name.." I said trying to think of a name to suite the half cat- half rabbit animal.. "Ryo. I like that name. Ryo. But I know you're not a demon." I picked the animal up and held it. It appeared to have rabbit and cat characteristics.. "You're a cabbit. Yeah, that's it, you're a cabbit!"
"Miya?" It replied to me.
I noticed that it was getting dark, and decided to head home. I put the cabbit down and started to walk home again. as I was walking, I thought about the little cabbit. I heard a noise. I turned around,
"Miya?" It looked at me sadly.
"Oh, you followed me? Ya wanna come home with me do ya?" I said picking it up and bringing it up to my gaze.
"Mreow!" It cried happily and smiled.
"Ok then!" I held the cabbit and continued to walk to my house.
