Magenta was in the kitchen preparing dinner. Frank's "guest" Dr. Everett Scott had just come crashing through the
laboratory wall. Riff Raff was doing something in the dining room, Columbia was still in her room, so Magenta was alone.
It was the first time in what seemed like forever she had been alone. If Riff Raff had known her inner thoughts at that moment
he would have never left that room. Magenta was depressed; bitter over the way Frank treated her and her brother, especially her brother.
She missed home more than anything. Her sweet home planet of Transsexual. She angrily took whatever she was cooking(Frank
hadn't quite made that clear to even her) out of the oven, and practically tossed it on to a serving plate. Then she saw it.
Sitting next to the plate. A knife. The blade blazing and shining in the light. She looked at the blade for a second, then
like a zombie, walked slowly over to it. She took the blade in her hand, chose a spot on her shoulder where she though people wouldn't
notice, and cut. She didn't think of anything but her pure bitterness over everything that had been overpowering her lately.
as she cut she seemed to feel healed; she felt no pain from the blade. On the contrary, it made her feel better, reassured
that if no one would help her she could help herself. Suddenly Riff Raff walked in. She threw down the knife and tried to cover her shoulder.
Riff Raff saw that the knife had blood on it, the blood of his dear sister. "What did you do?!" He cried, "why?!".
Magenta came out of her trance and looked at the spot where she had cut in what seemed like pure confusion. "I dont know..."
She murmured. She knew Riff Raff would say something, give her some sort of lecture. She didn't want that. She ran out of the room and up to the
balcony of the laboratory. "Just put on a fake smile, " she thought to herself, "No one will know the difference.....". She yelled "Master! dinner
is prepared!". "No one will know the difference," she thought, "Except myself.".
