"Whatever…" I grunted, watching her slip her clothes on under my cape.
Kiki giggled. "You aren't very nice, mister green man!" she said, giggling
a bit. "What, am I supposed to be?!" I snapped at her. This girl may have
been cute, but she was grinding my nerves. In fact, if I wasn't doing a
favor for her sister, I would have killed the little thing right then and
there.
"Mister Piccolo?" the girl asked, toddling up to me with staring large green eyes. "I'm tired…where do I sleep?" Oh yeah…sleep…these little things did it all the time. I then pointed over to a tree stump covered in leaves. "There. I don't have a bed, so that will have to do." Kiki smiled a bit, and trotted over to the tree stump I had pointed to. She then curled up into a little ball of fluff which resembled Goku's hair in the strangest way. "Piccolo?…I'm cold…"
Once again, I tossed her my cape, this time to keep warm. She took it, wrapped it around herself, then after a short time, fell asleep. I, too, felt drowsy, but instead of heading to my waterfall to sleep, I leaned against the tree trunk and closed my eyes, slowly drifting off into slumber.
The next morning, I was awoken by major pokes to my arm coming from Erika, Kiki's sister who was prodding me with a stick. "What…" I grunted a bit, turning over. "C'mon, Piccolo. Say good-bye to Kiki! She's going home now!"
I sat up, staring at the green-hared girl that was holding Kiki. "Oh, bye, Runt…" I grunted, turning away from her. I was not about to admit I actually liked the little kid. Then, before I could blink, they were both gone…I think I'll do this again sometime…perhaps I'll even…kiss her goodnight…but until then, I am on my own…
