A Poem for Him IV
No one really knows
How much Jesus gave
But his mark still glows
In the hearts of those saved
He made the ultimate sacrifice
A very noble deed
He was brutally crucified
But He started the lead
Toward eternal life and hope
For we could see
Heaven's climbing rope
Up to eternity…
After He died
He was buried
In a stone cave
But He was carried
By an angel
From the dead
After He was arisen
He triumphantly lead
All seekers to God.
In Heaven He reigns supreme
And, still, hard to seem
There is still corruption in the world
But the believers haved curled
On Jesus' lap; they were saved
On Earth they had paved
A path for non-believers
Away from the deceivers
Toward Jesus Christ…
No one really knows
How much Jesus gave
But his mark still glows
In the hearts of those saved
He made the ultimate sacrifice
A very noble deed
He was brutally crucified
But He started the lead
Toward eternal life and hope
For we could see
Heaven's climbing rope
Up to eternity…
After He died
He was buried
In a stone cave
But He was carried
By an angel
From the dead
After He was arisen
He triumphantly lead
All seekers to God.
In Heaven He reigns supreme
And, still, hard to seem
There is still corruption in the world
But the believers haved curled
On Jesus' lap; they were saved
On Earth they had paved
A path for non-believers
Away from the deceivers
Toward Jesus Christ…
