The fall

He stopped, for a second, to watch her. Her brown hair fell, perfectly, off her shoulders as she searched for something inside the desk. Tipping the chair a bit more, she that she would have more excess, she didn't notice that she had tipped the chair too far. But he did, rushing to her side, with his super speed, he cough her before she hit the ground.
She landed on top of him, but he didn't care, as long as she was ok, he was content. Slowly she lifted her head from its hiding place in his chest and he saw a strand of hair rest on her face. Pushing it gently away, it took everything he had to stop from kissing her. He won.
"You ok?" He asked softly gazing at her.
"Never better, are you ok?" She replied.
"I'm fine." He told her.
"Good. Sorry." She said apologizing for landing on him.
"Don't apologize." He told her.
"Sorry." She, once again, apologized for apologizing. He looked at her, then, and couldn't help up laugh. She looked so lost but, he knew, she was anything but.
"You're sure your ok?" He asked again. Can never be too sure, right?
"I'm fine." She told him.
"Good." He said, noticing that piece of hair had once again found its way back to her face. Pushing it away again, he noticed her watching him.
"What is there something on my face." He asked her, a small smile playing on his face.
"No, there's nothing in your face." She told him.
This is how it should be; this is how he liked it. Having her close to him.
"Angel." She pulled him out of his thoughts of her.
"What?" He asked her. His voice not commanding or hard but gentle and soft, the way he always was with her.
"Maybe, we should move. Get up, I mean." She said regarding the position they were in.
"It's that if anyone comes in.." she trailed off; he could finish the sentence by himself.
"Yea." He said agreeing with her but making no move to get up, he just starred at her.
Now it was her turn to ask.
"Is there something on my face?" She asked him, bringing her hands up to touch her face.
"No, you're perfect." He told her, gently grabbing her hand and pinning them at her side. He didn't mean for it to come out like that but it had and as she lay there, on him, with a bewildered but happy look on her face the urge to kiss her came over him again. This time he couldn't win and slowly he leaned in to her capturing her lips with his in an earth moving kiss.
When it ended, they lay there starring at each other.
"Angle, I.." he cut her off.
"I love you." Was all he said and all she needed to hear.
"I always have and always will." He added.
"I love you too." With that she let her head, once again, rest on his chest.
"Don't ever leave me Cordeial. Promise." He begged her.
"Promise." She answered him as they lay there not caring who found them, as long as they were together.
