Nadia glared at Michelle. Jim had just left to get drinks when the two girls started to vent.

"I came back to be with Jim, not fight with some wannabe ugly flute player! Back off Jim, he's mine!" Nadia snarled at Michelle, circling around the den like a wrestler.

"Michelle shook her head, a dazed look on her face. "Nadia, all Jim and I do is… ok, I'm not going to say, but Nadia, if he had a chance with you, he'd dump me before I could say- 'hey, wait!' You're his dream! Maybe you should stop jumping to accusations, and just go for it."

Nadia stopped circling, and looked at Michelle. She straightened, and then replied, "You're right. Bye!" Nadia skipped into the kitchen after Jim. She smiled at him and started to twirl her hair around her finger. "Jimmy…" she called, smiling coyly at him. "I thought you might-"

"Could you get out my way, please, Nadia?" Jim asked, scooting around her to get to the doorway to the den. She raised her eyebrows and put her hands on her hips.

"Excuse me, Jim?" she asked in a snooty voice.

"What is it, Nadia?" Jim asked in a tired voice.

"What's gotten into you, Jim? Two months ago, you almost fainted when I was in the same room as you! Now, you're acting like Michelle is better than I am? ME!?"

"Nadia, are you alright?" Jim asked, looking at her funny. Nadia grabbed Jim, pushed him up against the wall, and tried to kiss him. Jim shoved her off, and ran to Michelle.

When Nadia ran into the den, she didn't see Michelle or Jim. Then she saw some movement in the closet, and ran into it. Jim shut the door on her, locked it, and walked over to Michelle. They smiled, and started to kiss.
