Wars
From the point of view of a planets life the life of a living thing is only an instant. We breathe in, we breathe out, and we die. We exist in a time were wars and death come like breathing. The fact that humans can never give up weapons and fighting the pitiless ideals that through war we can attain peace is foolish.
Wars have claimed many lives through the centuries. Humans however continue to fight. They continue to spill blood and tears that in the end are nothing more then decorations for a ceremony. We've never forgotten the sorrows brought on by war and yet we continue to fight.
Animals live very simple lives. There are no wars or continuing battles. They eat they reproduce and they die. They protect themselves through fighting but never fight for sake of emotion.
Animals known as humans however fight to satisfy their emotion. They fight because of technological advancement. Because they have the power to do damage. Because they feel.
What are wars? While there are many different types of wars a war is defined as a series of battles that result in the rise of one military power and the fall of another, usually through defeat. Because of power, strategy, and technological development a war is nothing more then a game of chess. The game that is eternal and will never stop.
Earth is the only planet in our solar system that is inhabited by life. From our genesis, our creation, we have had condesinding hatred for each other. We find strength in those who feel the same rancor as us and rise against up against those who do not.
Hatred is the root of all wars. To say you fight for peace is a petty lie repeated over and over in the past.
We are humans. Immutable creations that will never change. As long as we exist as a race there will be fighting. There will be death and there will be blood spilled. Man kind will never change. It's that simple.
