This is dedicated to Neko Necromancer who reads my sap-filled stories with great bravery, as she is a 1x3 fan and anyone who knows my writing knows I normally do 1x2... So this is for you!
WARNING: 1+3 vignette, full of fluff. I don't know exactly when this would happen in the timeline; I'm guessing a little after the time while Trowa cared for Heero after self-destructing.
DISCLAIMER: Come on, did you actually think I owned the adorable G-boys (and the other people too)? If I did, believe me, Relena would be chasing after Dorothy, Treize, Zechs and Wufei would be doing each other and 1x2x5 would be the mainstream pairing (tripling, whatever). As it is though...

The sunrise was a beautiful sight indeed... Trowa's custom had become to awake before dawn and watch the sun come over the horizon each morning. Leaning against the tall tree, his arms crossed, he smiled inwardly at the slowly brightening sky. So silently the sun rose, but yet it had so much effect upon the world...
Faintly he heard familiar footsteps. Heero had come to tell him that Catherine was looking for him, most likely. Or perhaps the pilot had come to watch the sunrise with him.
When Heero came into sight, he nodded, acknowledging him. Heero nodded back. They did not dare break the encompassing silence, the peace and quiet too rare to waste by meaningless words.
Now the sun was almost fully up... Trowa glanced at Heero. He had seated himself at the foot of the tree they were under, his gaze fixated on the horizon. He had recovered fully already and soon would be leaving. Trowa felt a brief pang of regret, though he knew not why.
"Trowa." The voice came almost out of nowhere. He looked at Heero. He was still looking at the sky, but was clearly more tense.
"Yes?"
Heero, for a moment, let himself stop being the Perfect Soldier and just a regular human. "I want to thank you. For taking care of me during my... disorder," he said, unwilling to say that he'd been unable to take care of himself.
"No need." Yes, no need. No need for words, for unnecessary gestures and conversations that simply cluttered up the lovely morning air. There was no need, for they understood each other. For that brief morning, all they needed was the other's presence and the understanding that lasted for a moment but was remembered an entire lifetime.
The spell that was set by the enchanting movements of the sun coming up was broken when it was fully visible. In the distance, Trowa could hear Catherine calling for him to come in for breakfast or else she'd stuff him with soup instead. And she knew how he hated soup. Oh, and bring Heero too, he was too skinny as well. Laughing silently at his sister-figure's antics, he started towards the direction of Catherine's voice. Then he waited for Heero to come with him, the unspoken words that might've been said a few minutes ago ringing in his ears. But then, perhaps there was no need for them either.
*End* Yay! Pretty story over... Please review and I shall absolutely love you forever.
