'What was my worst day?' Lucas thought back.
When Ford had asked him earlier, Lucas had jokingly told him that it was hanging around with them, but everyone knew he wasn't being serious. Lucas thought for a while before he decided that there wasn't an embarrassing day, but an embarrassing couple of days at his old school…
It was an ordinary Wednesday when 10-year-old Lucas woke up that morning, and he was all right until lunchtime, when he had swing band rehearsals.
Flashback "OK people, that's all we have time for today, recess is almost over folks, so get packed up quickly and hurry along to your next class before I get into trouble for making you guys and gals late!" Mrs Hading shouted above the chattering."Hey Lucas, wait up!" Barry called up to his friend.
Lucas turned around to see his friend, who had already packed his instrument away.
"Hey wassup?" Lucas asked Baz, who was crouching beside him.
"What you got next lesson?"
Lucas thought for a moment before replying,
"Maths, I think."
"Damn it, never mind. I'm trying to find someone to walk down to science with me. Becky, you've got science next haven't you?" At the girl's nod, Baz walked out of the room.
Lucas carried on packing his big, and heavy tenor sax. Lucas sighed, the sax was nearly as big as him but that didn't concern Lucas, who was a very loud sax player. Lucas dragged the sax into the messy locker room where his next task was to haul the sax into a wooden locker, which was about a meter off the ground. After many attempts, Lucas had managed to get his padlock off and the sax into his locker.
"YYYYYYYEEEEEESSSSS!!!!!!!" Lucas cried,
But in his joy he managed to drop the padlock in amongst the body of instruments on the floor. Sighing, Lucas bent down and quickly found the padlock.
'Typical my luck,' Lucas thought.
The boy then thought he heard a curious sliding sound above him, frowning he looked upwards in time to see his tenor sax sliding out of the locker and, before he had a chance to react, Lucas suddenly felt a sharp pain in his head as the hinge of the sax's case fell onto his head. Lucas was blinded by pain, but managed to stumble into the music room and nearly fell over.
"Lucas!" Michael cried, rushing towards his friend.
"OUCH!" Lucas groaned.
"What happened?" Michael said, now by his side.
"The sax fell on my head!" Lucas replied.
Michael laughed so hard, that tears came out of his eyes. Lucas just groaned.
"I'm sorry Lucas, that's just a classic moment. I'll take you to the medical room, now. Just lean on me for support…"
End of Flashback
Lucas chuckled to himself until tears came to his eyes. To make matters worse, after he had been to the medical room, he then had to explain to his maths teacher, the whole class watching his every move, as he explained that he was late to lesson because a sax fell on his head! Lucas spent the next week hearing various saxophone jokes around the school. Just then the bleeping of his PAL pulled Lucas back to the real world and problems with the SeaQuest,
"Here we go again with another computer problem!" Lucas thought as he headed out of the room, to solve yet another computer related problem on board the SeaQuest submarine.
