Stiff As A Board

Disclaimer- The characters and the idea belongs to J.K. Rowling. I am just elaborating on what she didn't say. I know there wasn't a match scheduled around that time, but let's just say there was.

"QUIDDITCH PRACTICE NOW! C'mon, let's go." Hollered Wood.

"What are you talking about Oliver?" Asked one of the twins. Oliver now had all the Weasleys and Neville's attention.

"We need to get practicing if we want to be ready for the match tomorrow," said Wood impatiently. "One of you go get Harry and I'll get Angelina and the rest and…"

"Calm down, Wood," Fred cut him off. "It is 5:30! We cannot even get on the pitch this early."

In response, Wood waved around a paper with McGonagall's signature saying that they could use the pitch by six.

"We don't need this much practice! Why don't we just go after breakfast?" Complained George.

"We need as much practice as possible!" Exclaimed a scandalized Wood.

"Alright, alright," muttered George scornfully. He and Fred stalked off to wake the others.

Percy sighed dignifiedly. "Well, if we are all done waking the whole House, then I think I'll go back upstairs and get some sleep."

He looked at Neville and added, "You should as well, Neville." Neville jumped at being addressed, he thought they had forgotten about him.

"Oh, okay," squeaked Neville. He was immensely grateful that Percy no longer wanted to know who cursed him.

Neville followed Percy up the Boy's staircase and slipped into his dormitory. In his rush to get to sleep, he did not notice that two beds were empty. Neville simply climbed into his bed, pulled up the covers, and snuggled down for a good rest.

It was not for several minutes that the rest of the team entered the room and found Harry and Ron missing. By that time, Neville was fast asleep, dreaming of all things fluffy and sweet.
