Because You Annoy Me

Disclaimer: Mihoshi, Kiyone, and Washu are the property of AIC and Pioneer. This story is mine.
"Mihoshi, you idiot," Kiyone's yell rang through the house.
"But Kiyone, it was an accident", came Mihoshi's teary reply. Washu, who could be heard in the background yelling something unintelligible, had long since retreated back to her lab. This left Kiyone stuck with cleaning up the mess that had been left by the "accident".
She was outside on the porch, nearly asleep, when a violent explosion had shaken the house. She had run inside to see Washu, covered in soot, pushing Mihoshi through the closet door that served as a gateway between dimensions. Kiyone wasn't entirely sure what had happened, but she had managed to put the pieces together. She had known immediately that it was Mihoshi's fault. `What isn't?' she asked herself. `My life was perfect before her. When I was partnered with Mihoshi, I lost my career, my rank, my respect. I lost everything I've worked for just because the officials needed someone to baby-sit her. How much better would everything be if she was gone? Just wiped of existence.' Kiyone's hand closed around the blaster strapped to her hip. `Only one way to find out.' She pulled the blaster out and aimed it carefully at Mihoshi's head. "W-What are you..." she stopped sobbing and stared down the barrel of the gun. Kiyone pulled the trigger with a satisfied smile.
Red and gray covered the wall behind her. "So she does have a brain," she said to no one. The thrill of the moment quickly disappeared as Washu's ongoing rants could be heard. Kiyone winced at the headache that was beginning to form when she realized the blaster was still clasped firmly in her hand. She threw open the door and stalked as quietly as she could to where Washu was standing in front of a huge computer screen. She took her shot before Washu realized she was there. The blast went through her back and exited through her stomach, taking her intestines with it and plastering them on the screen.
Kiyone nearly laughed to see this self-proclaimed greatest scientific genius crumpled helplessly on the floor before her equipment could even detect her presence in the lab. The only thing that could ruin this was...
The thought was interrupted by the sounds of explosions upstairs. `Oh, well' she thought as she started towards toe door, loading another round into her gun.
Author's notes: I know this is kind of bizarre and really disturbing, but I just felt this had to be done. In the Universe series, Kiyone is always whining about how miserable her life is because of Mihoshi, but she never does anything about it. Please review, but if you can't criticize constructively, don't criticize at all.
