It's been over one week since the fight with Cell. One week since his father died. Gohan sits on a hill nest to a leaned up against a tree looking up at the clouds. The tears just flowed down his red cheeks. Images of his father invade his thoughts
*When I was lost inside a forest of dismay
You always knew just how to help me find my way
In a world that's so uncertain*
Gohan starts to think about all the happy times him and his father had together, when he starts to fall asleep. As his eyes start to close he suddenly thinks back to the first time he met Garlic Jr. When he suddenly realized that it was he not his father that had defeated him. It was him that defeated Garlic Jr. He had the power to defeat him because of his fear that his father would get hurt or even worse killed. Then he drifts off to asleep.
*You've been there me no matter what the cost
You always stand beside me*
He dreams about being in a field, where he sees his father. Goku turns and sees Gohan. They look at each a few moment adn then begin running towards each other. Gohan can't believe it's really him. They finally get to each other. Gohan throws himself into his fathers arms. They hug each other and Gohan tells Goku that he doesn't think he can go on without him.
Goku says "Gohan you can do it you have to be strong for your mother it's going to be tough on her now that I'm gone. I want you to take care of her for me. Tell everyone I'll see them soon, and give your mother a hug for me. Gohan don't forget I love you and I'll always be proud of you." Goku ruffles his son's hair and start to walk off, when suddenly he turns and has that goofy grin on his face and says " I'll always be close by if when you need me." Then he disappears.
*I'll be the one who hears your prayer
Don't have to ask me I'll be there
I'll be the friend you'll never have to do without*
Suddenly Gohan is woke up when Piccolo puts his hand on his shoulder. He looks up at the man who first trained him. Piccolo shakes head, for he knows that Gohan misses his father. Gohan stands up and looks at the sunset, with tears running down his face.
" I love you, too dad and I'll make you proud." he whispers as he starts walking home with Piccolo so he can tell his mother about his dream.
