One fine day in Konan, Tasuki was polishing his Iron Fan. He took careful time doing so, and was sure to scrub the little tassels too. When he was done, he decided to test out his Iron Fan by going hunting in the woods, just to make sure it was working well. He did not tell anyone else what he was going to do, because last time he created a forest fire. It wasn't that big, he decided, so its no big deal if it happens again, right? Tasuki hummed to himself as he strolled along. He brought with him some rice balls and some sweets he stole from the kitchen. Tasuki almost forgot about his original purpose as to why he was in the forest as he stopped to admire its beauty. Suddenly, Tasuki heard a noise behind him. Something brown and white that was shorter than Tasuki came running at him. Well, now was Tasuki's chance to try out his fan! REKKA.....SHIIIEN!!

he yelled. The fan let out a bellow of fire and the thing that was originally there was no more. Tasuki was overjoyed, yet he could have sworn that he heard a girl's voice screaming "FOOOOOOOOD!!!" coming from the same direction of whatever had been originally there. Tasuki shrugged it off, and only then when he reached the palace and couldn't find Miaka, did he realize that the brown and white thing in the forest had been Miaka in search of food and he had burnt her to a crisp.
