The Ocean of Darkness
By The Merlin
Banishing the warmth
Killing embers in the hearth
Wrapping around me in its deadly spell
Suffocating life with a wave of Darkness
I can not breathe!
What little air was left
Escaped into bubbles around me
I watch them float away
Glistening like precious orbs
"Reach the surface!" I begged
But before they could the Darkness shattered them
It destroys me
For nothing can escape The Ocean of Darkness
