What They Said...

Disclaimer: I don't own any of this (like you didn't already know!)

A/N: You know how sometimes films & TV make it look like the characters are being interviewed by some unseen, unheard person? Don't be silly! Of course you know what I'm talking about! What do you mean you don't? Well anyway, that's what I'm doing here.

This is my little fic about how the cast of Angel react when they find out about Xander and Anya's engagement.

ANGEL;

"Well I only actually met Anya once or twice. Isn't she, like, over a thousand? It doesn't matter, I was just saying it. Because I was! It was nothing to do with *my* age!
I thought I was supposed to be talking about Anya and Xander? Well let me talk about them!
You know I never really liked Xander. He always called me 'Deadboy'. I *know* I'm dead. That's not the point! There isn't a point. I was just...let's not go there again.
You're going to speak to Cordelia? Good idea. I think."

CORDELIA;

"Upset!? Why would I be upset? Just because my ex-boyfriend's getting married to the demon that came to Sunnydale to help me get revenge on him, it doesn't make me upset. I know she's not a demon *anymore*, but she was. She was even a man hating demon. I just don't want her to go back to thinking men are all jerks that cheat on you with the nearest computer geek. Did I just say computer geek? I meant...er...well I'm not sure what I meant. I just didn't mean that. Why would I mean that? Willow's my friend now. Sort of. It's simply that Xander *does* have a history of being unfaithful, and I don't want him to cheat on anyone else. After all, Anya did try to help me. Okay, she did it by creating a world where Willow was a vampire. But she *was* trying to help! And that's why I'd hate for her to end up lying in a hospital bed, or sitting in her room, feeling as if she's given up all her friends for a loser who broke her heart into a million pieces!
Not that that's how I felt. Xander and I were never that close. Love him!? *No* I didn't *love* him! Who have you been talking to? Buffy is *so* dead! Again. I told her that in confidance. Okay, so I didn't actually *tell* her not to tell anyone, but she should have known!
I'm going to Caritas for a drink!"

WESLEY;

"Ah yes, Anya. Sometimes referred to as the Patron Saint of Scorned Women, Anyanka was a vengeful and extremely powerful demon in her time. I believe she was infact human to begin with. If my books are accurate she must be eleven hundred years old at the very least.
...I'm sorry, what was the question?"
