Shattered Love
By: Brown-Eyes
Disclaimer- I don't own any of these characters...but I would love to own Christian... hehehe... and I do not own the quote.
Summary- Story is about Satine's thoughts as she is about to go for Spectacular Spectacular. Hope you guys like it.
*******
"The road to hell is paved with good intentions"
Satine stared at her reflection in the mirror. It was almost time to go on stage. To go on with the show. But she had no heart to go on stage...no heart to carry on. She wanted to die. Die from a broken heart.
That expression of his face was permanently indented in her mind. The way his grayish-blue eyes filled with tears...is face twisting in agony as told him lies. His poor innocent heart smashing into pieces. It all played over and over in her head.
"You did the right thing Satine...you are protecting him" Harold and Marie cooed, trying to conceal her. But no matter what they said...her heartbreak didn't go away.
Deep down in her soul she knew she had killed Christian. By telling him she didn't love him...she had robbed him of everything. His ideals...his dreams...his love...everything he had every cherished. Satine had condemned her angel...one and only love...to a fate far worse than death.
"You make me sick...you scum...you whore!" Satine spat at her reflection. In a fit of rage and anger Satine threw a coma at the mirror. In a burst of dust and glass her reflection smashed into a thousand pieces.
"Just like my heart..." Satine softly uttered to herself. All her dreams she and Christian had shared...all the love they had...shattered...just like the mirror. It had explored into a thousand glittering pieces.
Satine put her head in her hands and began to sob. She sobbed for Christian, for their love, and for her "good" intentions...that had condemned them both to hell.
Authors Note- I hope you guys enjoyed it. It is a little dark...but I think that is what Satine would have
been going through at the time. Please review...they make me so happy!
