Chapter One: Why Did I Make Everyone So Dense?
Everybody was at the kitchen table at the Weasley's residence, eating dinner. By everybody, I mean Fred, George, Ron, Ginny, Mr and Mrs Weasley, and Harry Potter. It was only a week before classes at Hogwarts started up once again. Mrs Weasley, unknown by everybody else, had a very important announcement to make...
Mrs Weasley: Arthur... Kids... Harry... (she says as she stands up)
Ron: Yah mum? (munching on a plate of spaghetti)
Mr Weasley: Yes?
Everybody looks at her.
Mrs Weasley: I have a very important announcement to make.
Fred and George: We can open our joke shop!
Harry: I can live here!
Ron: He can live here!
Ginny: He can live here!
Mr Weasley: He can live here?
Mrs Weasley: (rolls her eyes) No to Fred and George, and Harry... Only if your Aunt and Uncle will let you.
Ron: Then what?
Mrs Weasley: (smiles broadly) There is going to be a new member to the Weasley family!
All: (blink... blink...)
Harry: You're adopting me? (hopeful smile)
Ron: Really? Cool! Harry's gonna be me brother!
Ginny: (small frown)
Mrs Weasley: No... (sees Harry's disappointed look) Well, maybe.
Harry: (perks up)
Mr Weasley: Then what is it?
Mrs Weasley: I'm pregnant!
The Weasley family (plus our dear little Harry) promptly rush Mr Weasley to the nearest hospital.
