Chapter One
"AAAAHHHH!!!!"
"Zoe! My love! Come to mmmeeeeeee!"
"No! Psycho!"
"Pleeeaaase?!"
"SOMEBODY HELP!!!"
"Zoe? What are you scream-AH!"
*WHAM*
Zoe, who is trying to escape the loving grasp of Don, runs smack into her bodyguard, John. They lie on the ground in a tangled mess as Don approaches them.
"What's THIS?! My true love in the arms of another?!" Don shouts.
Zoe stands up and dusts herself off.
"Would you SHUTUP?!" she yells in his face. "I am NOT your true love!!!"
Don blinks. Zoe fumes.
"Zoe! Love!" he begins kissing her hand.
"BLECH!"
John stands up.
"Don, if you don't leave Zoe alone, I'll have to get my gunblade..."
A cloud of dust forms as Don disappears down the road.
"Thanks," Zoe says, smiling at John. He smiles back and replies, "Your welcome."
"Once again you've saved my sister from Don, old chum." Zoe's brother appears.
"It's my job, Phoenix."
"Yo, bro!"
"Hey guys!" they hear someone call.
"Nicholas!" Zoe yells. They run to meet him.
"I came to tell you," he says, "that Travis and Tim have some new equipment arriving tomorrow."
"Well, what are we waiting for?!" John practically yells.
"Michael and Jeremy are coming to. They're waiting for us at the entrance to town." Nicholas exclaims. "Hey, can I come this time?" Zoe begs. "Sure, just hurry up!" Nicholas replies. "Yes! Thank you Nicky!" she hugs him and he smiles as she runs off to pack. "Hey! Wait a minute! We never agreed to that!" John and Phoenix yell, running after her.
~Later~
"I can't believe we brought my sister!"
"Hey, I don't mind her." Michael puts his arm around Zoe's neck and smiles at her. She blushes.
"More work, more money." John says.
Nick looks at Zoe, who frowns at the above statement.
"Well, whatever. Less talk, more walk!" says Jeremy.
Soon they come to the busy city, and enter the gates. John keeps close to Zoe. They find the Gun and Ammunition store, the "Burning Serpent" easily enough, and walk in. Travis and Tom greet them. They show them the new equipment.
"This is the SKA4003," Tom says, holding up some type of a machine gun. The boys crowd around Tom and Travis, practically drooling over the guns. Zoe heads outside to wait for the boys.
