Chapter 1:The Beginning
Homer sat in his office at the power plant trying not to fall asleep because he was almost done for the day.
"Must…stay…. awake." he said.
Just then an alarm went off. He checked his watch and it was time to go home.
"Wahoo, work is over." Homer said relieved.
Homer took a run for his car for some reason he was overexcited today. On his way to the car he knocked several people over including Mr. Burns.
"Simpson come over here at once!" he said.
"Yes sir." he said expecting to get fired.
"That fall fixed my back. Smithers promote him and give him a big bonus."
"But Sir his son is the one who-" Smithers was about to say broke your back but is interrupted."
"Yes Mr. Burns."
"I don't care do it!"
On his way to the door he was given a 100,000-dollar check and was told that he was now the 12th most paid man in the factory.
Time to go on a vacation he thought
