Hide and Seek

The two wound their arms and legs around each other in breathless
passion.
"I love you." The green haired beauty exclaimed breathlessly to
her blonde partner. "I live only to be with you, to be surrounded
by your love."
The blonde looked into the dark eyes of her companion and smiled.
"You have shown me so much that I never knew before."
The breeze from the night air blew in the from the palace balcony.
Soft lips met in a tender kiss. Fragrant green hair brushed against
the warm flesh as the woman caressed the supple skin of her lover's
shoulder. "Without you, there is no reason to go on. You give me
the strength and courage to live."
Bright eyes dazzled in the starlight. "No, you are the one who gives
me everything that I need to live."
"If only you understood what power you have over me." The woman
pulled the blonde against her. "For you I would gladly sacrifice all
that I am."
"No!" The blonde gasped as she kissed the other hard on the mouth.
"I never want you to leave me!"
"So sweet." She stroked the soft flesh of her cheek. "So innocent,
how can anyone not love you?"
"Please!" The blonde pleaded. "Promise me you will always be here."
"How can I..."
"Please!" The dark eyes glinted. "Promise me!"
Her lover sighed. "For what it is worth, I promise you."
Content with the word of her lover, the woman threw her arms about her neck.
"Thank you!" She kissed the woman passionately and pulled her into the warmth
of her embrace. They buried themselves in the soft bed sheets as eager hands
explored the others body.
The door to the room opened slightly to emit a tiny presence.
"Mama?" The child whispered.
Two heads popped up from under the covers. The women pulled the sheets over
themselves and stared at the child.
"S..Small Lady!" The green haired woman exclaimed.
"Hi Pu!" The little girl chirped happily. "Mama, when is Papa coming home?"
"Soon..." Neo Queen Serenity gulped as she climbed out of bed and pulled on
her robe.
"Were you two playing hide and seek?" The tot reached her arms up to
her Mother.
"Yes, yes we were dear." The blonde looked back at her companion and winked.
It was a small lie that kept the child from asking more questions.
"It's time for you to go back to your own room now." The Queen carried her
child back to her room. She gently laid the little one in her bed and kissed
her goodnight.
"Hide and seek must be fun to play." The little Princess said to her Mother.
"What makes you say that darling?" Her Mother asked.
"Papa plays it with Rei when you're not around."
