An American Witch Goes To London....And Beyond
This is my first submission to ff.net so please be gentle. :) I'd love to hear any comments you might have on Chapter 1. Feedback = Quicker uploading of next chapter. ;)

ATTENTION : Some changes were made to the canon of Buffy. This takes place in Season 6 of Buffy, with 2 notable exceptions. Buffy did not die and Oz never returned in New Moon Rising. Everything is explained, so don't worry too much. The usage of Harry Potter is up to the end of The Goblet Of Fire, so it will be different than The Phoenix of course.

She couldn't believe it. How long had it been? Two years with no word at all, then one day...
A postcard.
From Oz...postmarked less than a week ago. He had been in London less than a week ago. For the first time in 2 years, Willow had some idea where he was.
All the spells to find him hadn't worked. Angel hadn't been any help either; Oz hadn't told him anything. The Dingoes were as clueless as she was, more so in fact.
Willow had moved on; she had given up hope. He had left to find himself and he had made himself hard to find.
Willow had done some soul searching too. She had explored her sexuality, recently ending a relationship with the blonde witch Tara.
She had thought she'd gotten over Oz, that the guitarist was part of her past.
Then why did she want to jump on the first plane to London and track him down?
Leaving the postcard lying at the end of her bed, Willow got off the bed and walked over to her dresser. Pushing a wisp of red hair behind her ear, she began to search through the top drawer.
Finding the book fairly easy, Willow pulled the auburn and gold yearbook out. As she began flipping through it, she noticed a snapshot flutter to the floor. Picking it up, she felt a rush of emotion. It was a picture Delia had taken of Willow and Oz at their post-graduation and post-apocalypse party. They looked so happy....
Carpe diem, hadn't Buffy told her that once? Seize the day. Willow picked up the postcard, studying the postmark...
She was going to seize the day.
Willow Rosenberg was going to London.
