Could Malcolm Reed be a descendant of Tim "The Toolman" Taylor?

Reed: We can crosswire the phase cannons and get a higher yield out of that bad boy.
Trip: Why would you want to do that?
Reed: More power!!!
Archer: Sorry Malcolm - wrong show, wrong network.
Reed: You never let me have any fun.
Mayweather: Careful, or you'll get my job.
(Reed shudders.)
T'Pol: Commander Tucker, why are you wearing plaid flannel?
