Pan – 12
Tommy - 13

Prologue:

The day Pan had been waiting the entire week for finally came. It was her first ever date, and she wanted it to go perfect. She had been hoping Tommy would ask her out sometime, and her wish finally came true this past Monday. The week went by incredibly slow, but finally Saturday came and Pan was off to meet Tommy at the theater. She was wearing her normal Jeans, red shirt, and bandanna, but she was also wearing a hint of makeup for the first time. The couple met at noon to decide which movie to see. Tommy had figured Pan would want to see some romance movie, but he was surprised when she chose to see the bloodiest, horrific movie there.
Pan smiled as he purchased their tickets and took seats next to each other towards the back. The movie started, and Tommy's arm slowly inched its way behind Pan until his hand rested on her shoulder. When she felt his hand, Pan turned her head to look at him to see him staring at her, smiling. A smile appeared on Pan's face as well, and she turned back towards the screen and laid her head on his shoulder. Eventually, the movie ended and they walked outside of the theater towards Satan City Park. The park was crowded at this time of day on a Saturday, but they managed to find a bench near the lake that was unoccupied.
They had barely sit down when they heard a lady scream "THEIF!!!" and a man with a ski mask on ran down the path in front of them with a purse in tow. Without a second thought, Pan ran after the man, kicked his ass, and returned the purse to the lady. She went to go sit back down on the bench, but noticed the scared look on Tommy's face. Tommy quickly made an excuse about having to go home, and ran as fast as he could out of there. Pan barely managed to hold in her tears before she made it home, where she immediately ran into the arms of her parents and broke down. Gohan and Videl looked at each other with a knowing look as they continued their hug.
Every date Pan had after that would almost always end in tears; with the boys either afraid of her strength, getting beat up, or just those who wanted her Satan and Son fame. So six years passed, and with each date Pan cried less and less, until she finally didn't cry at all. She had accepted her fate and decided to stop dating altogether. She started college with a reputation as a man hater. She didn't hate all men, just the ones that wanted to go out with her and then broke her heart. She focused on other things that were now more important to her, like training and studying. She wished there was someone who wouldn't be afraid of her strength or want her just for her fame and inheritance. Alas, that didn't seem likely to happen for Pan.

Next Chapter: Pan comes home for summer break and is introduced to some old family friends, the Briefs.
