Jazzi stands in the hot crowded gym as the third slow dance starts to play and fill the intense gym with sweet lovely sounds, and once again Jazzi can't notice the sweetness of the music, for she has no one to dance with. She sits on an empty bleacher area, looking, staring at the ever- changing floor from the sparkling lights. Not even thirty seconds after she sat down which seemed like minutes to her, a pair of black boots walk up to her. She slowly looks up to see Sephiroth standing in front of her with his hand extended to her with a smile. She slowly takes his hand with a smile as he walks her onto the crowded dance floor, but as they walk on a circle seems to form around them with whispers and looks, though Jazzi notices none of it, just looks at Sephiroth.

He places her arms around his neck as he puts his hands on her waist. They dance in each other's arms in pure silence. Jazzi feels complete peace and safety with him; all of her worries and thoughts disappear. She closes her eyes and takes in the feel, smell, and comfort of him. Did he hear her silent cries? Is he an answer to her unsaid prayers? She stops worrying how he got to be there, and just accepts that he is there, now with her. She can't hear the words of the song, nor the words the people are whispering. Everything blurs together besides the two of them. He slowly stops moving, and she realizes the dance is almost spent. He bends down slightly, brushing his lips against hers for just a few brief moments. As the song ends everyone turns to the DJ and claps. Jazzi turns, but doesn't clap. Her mind races as her lips still seem to burn where they met his own. When Jazzi turns back to Sephiroth, he is no where to be seen. She looks around in distress, but looks down, and where he stood lies a single red rose. She smiles, picking up the rose slowly and smells it with her eyes closed. Then she opens her eyes slowly with a contented smile. Jazzi takes slow steps to the door as she exits the dance, she never looks back. She takes that precious memory with her and nothing else.
