What is she doing

My heart keeps beating the sound

Of her name



Why does she do this to me

Why does it hurt so much

Everything's spinning and swirling around

I don't understand how I let her slip away

Right through my fingers

Right to the ground



She told me those words

I had so longed to hear

That time on the bridge

Caused a tear

But it was quickly washed away

When those words soared from her mouth
