"Hello Master Jun. It has been too long since we have had evening tea." Qui-Gon said as he poured the old jedi a warm drink, "I pray that you have been well?"
Jun closed his hands around the ceramic cup and smiled, "I have been well, but I hear you have run into some problems with your young Padawan?"
Qui-Gon turned his back to Jun, "I....yes. He has become someone else. We are so unconnected...it is like he has been taken over by something.....or someone...."
"It was not your fault, Master Qui-Gon. The boy is just confused. You obviously meant him no harm, but may I ask a question?"
"Yes, of course Master Jun."
"When you were....with the boy, did he truly desire it? Was he trying to please Qui-Gon? Or was he only trying to please his Master? He still feels a slave. He still does everything you say. I am surprised the force never showed you his true feelings. He fears you now and he loves the girl."
Qui-Gon's chest rose."I did not know that he loved the girl. I thought perhaps he was just...curious.....but if he does love her, what can I do?"
"First you must decide what the boy means to you and if he is ready to make his own decisions...I believe he is, but you know him better than me."
Qui-Gon turned to face him, "Are you quite disgusted, Master Jun? That Obi-Wan would give himself to me? That I would have a slave? I sense that you are sickened by the it. Well, now you will know, that I have loved him from the moment I knew him. He is so pure, so gentle, so eager to be loved.......I have never....I would never harm him. If you ever thought that I forced him, you were quite mistaken. He is my Padawan....I...I am sorry. I do not know what is come over me these past few days..."
Qui-Gon's heart spilled out into tears, "I can't believe I have hurt him. I must leave this place..." he left the room as Jun called out, "No! Wait! Qui-Gon!"
