A sunny day with no rain

"I'm really glad that we are ... together, Sakura." It was a bright, sunny day. The skies were a brilliant baby blue that were only covered by a few pearl-white, puffy clouds that seemed to soak up the sun and when full, slowly drited away. It was just a couple days ago that Sakura had sealed the Void Card. She was so glad that Syaoran had not lost his most precious feeling. And now that they both knew how they felt about each other, they decided to go out on a very special first date.

Sakura and Syaoran were walking down a to a grassy meadow. Syaoran had been there, the first day he was in Japan, and he loved it. Since it was so far away from Sakura's house, Sakura had never been to the meadow; this meadow which Syaoran had often talked about, wanting to go see it again.

Because Syaoran seemed so wanting to see this mysterious place, Sakura was very excited. "Are we there yet, Syaoran-kun? What does it look like?" And finally, the two reached a park-like area. Sakura gasped, for it was like a painting where the artist had been given millions of different colours to play with. The grass itself had hundreds and hundreds of rich greens, deep greens from a jungle, flashing (but few) neon greenish-yellows and tame limes, and so many more that Sakura took out her camera that Tomoyo had given her and took several pictures.

The tress bristled with life, squirrels leaping around the branches, birds flying to their nests. A tiny pond lay inside, near the left of the meadow, the waves making small ripples of water, frogs leaping on lilypads. Sakura reluctantly put away her camera after 3/4 of the film was used. She grabed Syaoran's hand and ran right to the middle, laughing as she caught a glimpse of Syaoran's surprised expression. When Sakura let go of Syaoran, they both fell down on the soft, lush grass. "Oh, Syaoran-kun! I love this place! It's so beautiful and calm, yet ful of life! Let's come here more often." Syaoran smiled. "Okay."

Sakura pulled out the basket of food that she made. "For today, we have sweetcakes for lunch!" After they ate, the cardcaptors lay down on the grass. A gentle breeze blew upon them. "Syaoran-kun, I don't know what I would be doing right now if you hadn't lost your most important feelings. Because I really do love you." Syaoran closed his eyes. "I don't know either. But we are together, and that's all that really matters." Sakura got up. Syaoran looked at her. She bent down at Syaoran's head. Syaoran went brick red all over. Sakura leaned over and... messed up Syaoran's hair. Syaoran sat up instantly. "Sakura-chan...?!" Sakura giggled. "Come and get me!" Syaoran started running after Sakura, but Sakura got out her staff and the Jump Card in a flash and was off. "He he! Syaoran-kun can't catch me!" Syaoran and Sakura played and had fun all day long as it was the beggining of a true love. When sunset came, the two huddled up next to each other and smiled, both whispering, "I'm so glad to be with you. I'm so glad to be here. Because I love you."
