At the door Serena was surprised to see Lita, Mina, and Rae.
"Serena!" Mina started.
"Where have you…" Rae continues
"Been?! We haven't seen you in a long time!" Lita finished.
"I've been love sick" Serena replied
"Well you've missed a lot!" Rae said.
"Yeah, Ami moved, as well as Michelle and Amara!" Mina said.
"WHERE TO?! I thought we were supposed to fight as a team!" Serena shouted in shock.
"Well, that's what we thought, but then you stopped talking to us." Lita said, crossing her arms.
"Guys--- I'm sorry." Serena said, almost to tears.
"That's a little too late for that, Serena!" Rei shouted.
"There's no more 'us' from now on, we're all going solo." Mina said.
"Fine… but you'll see how hard it is without me!" Serena shouted really angry.
"WE'LL BE JUST FINE!!" They all shouted back at her as they walked out of her room.
Her mom was in the kitchen, when she saw Serena's friends stomp out of the house.
"Psh… some friends they were!" Serena said under her breath.
Serena walked to her closet, still furious and she grabbed a pair of blue jean caprees and a black shirt. She changed into her outfit and pulled her hair up into 'meatballs'. She slipped her black high-heeled sandals on and walked out of her room.
Meanwhile downstairs, Serena's mom was wondering why Serena's friends left so soon, and why they were angry.
"Mom?" Serena said concerned.
"Honey! You finally came out of your room!!" Her mom rushed up to her and hugged her.
"Yeah…" Serena said and hugged back.
"Why did your friends leave so soon and… why were they mad?"
"Well… they… uh… had to go shopping, and I told them I didn't feel like going to the mall so they got mad and left?" Serena said… knowing that's the lamest excuse she's said in all of her life.
"Is there something you're keeping from me Serena?" Her mom demanded to know if there was something wrong.
"No mother." Serena replied.
"Ok…" Her mom replied, still concerned.
"Mom, I'm going to Molly's house… O.K.?" Serena said.
"Alright, but be careful." Serena's mom joked.
"Mom… I'm not a little baby anymore!" Serena teased.
"I know, but you'll always be my little baby girl." Her mom teased back.
"Mom…." Serena said embarrassed.
"Have a good time honey!" Her mom said as Serena dashed out the door.
Serena walked down the street heading towards Molly's house. When she arrived she walked up the path and to the door. She rang the doorbell. She heard someone approaching the door, and then she saw the doorknob turn. The door slowly opened.
