The Sorting Hat's Secret
Adam Stanna stood with the other first years. He watched the Sorting Hat as it sang. One by one, students were called up and the hat was placed on their heads. The hat then decided what house the child should be in. Finally it was Adam's turn. As soon as the hat was placed on his head, it broke out in song.
For many years this house was silenced.
Never known of by man or beast.
Until the chosen one was sorted,
Into the house called "Wolfenbeast".
The password is " Silence", but can only be said by the chosen.
Find the house by dawn tomorrow,
Or it will go back from where it came.
The hat fell silent and everyone stared at Adam. Peeves flew into the room and said,
" So somebody finally opened it. An ickle firstie, no less. Good luck, ickle firstie." He flew away, cackling. Adam stepped down from the hat, feeling ashamed. The rest of the students were sorted. Dumbledore called Adam over.
" Well, are you going to find your house or not?"
