A/N: Did anybody see retreat a while ago? Well, this is what happens after that horrid little episode.

Bayville High, Monday morning

Kitty and Rogue head for their lockers before class, surprised to see Lance and Pietro waiting for them.

Pietro: Oh Kitty! Pietro suddenly jolts forward, tightly wrapping Kitty in an embrace, and kisses her full on the lips I missed you so much! It was almost unbearable not having my girlfriend around for two whole days!

Lance: taps Pietro on the shoulder Uh, wait. I'm her boyfriend, remember?

Pietro: Oh, yeah. That's right. Pietro pulls away, leaving the blushing Kitty

Kitty: with a nervous smile, trying not to revealed the kiss was enjoyable

Lance: Oh Kitty! he wraps his arms around the girl as they kiss each other I missed you so much! It was almost unbearable not having my girlfriend around for two whole days!

Pietro: whispers to Rogue And they call me weird. He could at least come up with his own lines.

Rogue: It's not like it was very good anyway.

Pietro: It was a joke. Break it off you two!

Rogue: alters her voice to speak a little higher, trying to clear out her accent I've like, missed you too Lance! Things just weren't the same without staying up with you on the phone and like, keeping Rogue up until 2 in the morning, you know?

Pietro: in a deep, overdramatic voice I know what you mean, my darling! The only reason I was able to live on normally, and not act like a complete buffoon and annoy my friends - especially the dashing, handsome, talented Quicksilver - is by kissing a picture of you every hour!

Rogue: That's so sweet! releases a high-pitched giggle for about 5 seconds I don't think it makes you seem creepy, at all.

Pietro: You don't know how much that means to me, especially coming from the girl of my dreams.

Rogue: Kiss me darling. slides her arms around Pietro's back and pulls him against her

Pietro: embraces Rogue and dips his head forward Oh Kitty!

Rogue: lean up, on her toes, pressing her lips near Pietro's Oh Lance!

Both: MWAH!

Risty strides out of a classroom, holding a Polaroid

Risty: Why Rogue, I didn't know you were cheating on me! stamps her foot, huffing

Rogue: jumps back from Pietro What?! No! I wasn't…. it was a joke!

Risty: waves around the fully developed photo That not how it looks in this picture. Maybe I should show it around school and see what everyone thinks?

Rogue: she blushes, and her eyes go wide Don't you dare!

Risty takes off, waving the picture above her head as Rogue chases after her.

Pietro: You guys get that?

Todd and Fred step out from behind some lockers, holding some materials

Fred: holds up a video camera Sure did.

Todd: rolls around on a familiar looking skate board Kind of a slow start, though.

Pietro: Don't worry little buddy, I can see Jean down the hall.

Todd: Hey! There's principal Kelly! Hellllooooooo Principal Kelly!

Kelly: gulps, his glasses falling off as his body develops the jitters No! No! For the love of God, please just leave me alone! He takes off, but Pietro, Fred and Todd give chase

The moral of the story? You can't judge a book by it's cover.

What the hell does that moral have to do with my fic? Absolutely nada. Chalk it up to deteriorating author skills.
