It all started when I heard your voice for the first time.
The way you sounded so unsure? Scared even?
Not knowing if you were right or wrong?
If the judgment that was being passed, was on the real you?
Or if they were seeing something you were not?
You were left to wonder if you were good enough?
For them? For us? For your self?
Somehow you didn't see that in the end it didn't matter.
Scared if you should continue? Or leave before you even got started?
I bet you even wonder if you would be missed?
Wondered if you were really ever apart of us?
One of the family? Or just an outcast?
Did you cry? Did you just want to give up?
Or simply just go blank?
Dose it matter any now?
For you see you shied away and yet stayed.
For the whole world to see.
