while I'm waiting for votes, I decided to write this!!!! I can't *stand* it
when a plot bunny runs around in my head incessantly, I just gotta get it
out!!

All was dark. It was as if she was blind and deaf, but a deaf person could still feel vibratons. Here there were none. She floated in utter darkness, her hair spreading behind her like a silken cloud. Tears streamed down her face as the memories flooded her mind, the pain, the screaming, the grief, then, it was gone. It was all gone now. Everything. There was nothing left to this place. She curled up into a fetal position, hugging her knees to her chest. She had lost. *He* had defeated her, and *they* were ignorant. She had known that this might happen. //Why?// she thought. //How could I have been so *stupid*? I knew that he could do this, and I knew they wouldn't realize.// A dry sob escaped her cracked and bloodied lips. //It's all my fault. If... if I had only thought for a second, instead of believing her false front, she might not have done it, and she would still be here. Why couldn't we just mind our own business, too? We expected it of her, so she did it, for so long, but then, her strength broke, just for a second, and that was all it took. She couldn't go on living like that. So... she..she...// More tears escaped her eyes. Unexpectedly, a bright light pervaded her sight, and a warm feeling came over her. //Perhaps all hope isn't lost, after all. I'm coming, and this time, she'll be happy.//

Well, that makes me a bit gloomy, but, I *was* a bit gloomy when I wrote this. Companion fic to Something to Live For, and I may post this with that story later one, but for now, guess who it is, and who they're talking about!!
