Someone shoot me now… *looks around empty room* Someone…?  Anyone…?  Damn.  Now that I have you all very confused I will tell you why.  The little voices in my head came up with a very odd idea.  One that just wouldn't leave me alone.  An idea of writing a Peter fic.  No not one all about how he felt so useless and left out all through his years at Hogwarts but a romance fic…  Someone PLEASE flame me for this.  I don't know where the idea came from because I hate Peter just as much as everyone else but…  Oh well just please just read and flame.  Hey, you don't even have to read!  Just scroll down to the bottom and flame it.  Please…

Disclaimer:  The characters are not mine.  Hmmmmmmm I don't really think the plot is mine either… It came from the deep realms of insanity.

A/N: oh yeah… It's from Peters point of view… evil rat…

I glanced absentmindedly around the classroom and my eyes landed on her…  I sighed and thought that she had to be the most beautiful creature in the world…  Chelsea.  Her long golden blonde hair gently fell over her shoulders as she watched Professor McGonagall with her sparkling blue eyes.  "Beautiful," I muttered to myself.

"Peter!" McGonagall barked.

"Wha…" I said blinking a few times, and tearing my eyes away from her.

McGonagall sighed and just shook her head.  A few people in the class started to laugh.  I started to blush and chanced one more look at her.

I looked up and my eyes met with her sparkling blue ones.  She gave me a small smile before turning her attention back to the front.  I sighed.  Loving her was no more than hopeful fantasies.  What could she ever see in me?

I was just the little mousy kid that was friends with the Marauders.  My blood started to boil slightly with an odd sort of jealousy.  James, Sirius and Remus were quite easily the most popular guys in school.  Everywhere they went they had girls falling at their feet and guys glaring in envy.  I was lucky.  They befriended me in our first year and made me part of their exclusive little group.  I still wasn't looked up at the way the other three were though.

After class I left ahead of the other three guys not wanting to stick around to watch their fan club drool all over them.

I was heading back to the Gryyfindor tower when someone called me.  I turned around to see her running towards me… Chelsea.

"Hey Peter," she said, slightly out of breath from running.

"Hello," I managed to choke out.

All of a sudden she seemed to start to get nervous.  "I was wondering if…"  She started to trail off.

"If what?" I asked hopefully.

"Well I… You see I… Wouldyougooutwithmesometime?"

I stood there for a moment as if waiting to wake up from some sort of dream.  A few minutes later I finally replied, "What?"

"I… I was wondering if you would go out with me sometime."

"I just stared at her.  Then finally I said, "You… You really mean it?"  She just nodded.  I smiled at her and whispered, "Of course.  I'd love to."  I thought for a moment then said, "How about the next Hogsmead weekend?"

"Sounds great," she replied.  We stood there in silence for a while.  I still couldn't believe this was really happening.  I waited expectantly for this dream to end.  But it didn't.  This was no dream.

"Listen," I finally said.  "I got to go but I'll see you at dinner ok?"

She nodded and we went back to our common rooms, since she was in Ravenclaw.

I smiled to myself.  The girl of my dreams had just asked me out on a date.  The Marauders were going to hear about this one.

There… well at least I have the satisfaction of knowing that the person I based Chelsea on is evil too…  ah just flame this please.
