My conclusion of ANIMORPHS #54 The Beginning:

A/N: I'm a pessimist I know-----flame all you want. I don't know the exact reason that Rachel was sent on her mission, so I came up with what my excuse is. Sorry.

Long cheesy version:

First Person--Marco

"Full emergency power to the engines," Jake said. "Ram the Blade Ship."

Menerash hit a few buttons on the board and looked at the computer screen. He seemed pleased wit what he saw, so he hit one final button and The Rachel jumped foreword.

The initial impact jarred everyone off their feet.

A moment later a huge explosion rocked the ship. Then another, and another. Evidently the Blade Ship was exploding literally around our ears.

I had just wondered when the explosions would hit our ship. When an explosion that sounded fairly close, sent a shock wave through our ship, killing us all.

Third Person---Cassie

Cassie woke up with a start about midnight, the night The Rachel was destroyed.

She had once again been dreaming about what might have happened to her friends; but this time she knew that it wasn't a dream. She felt as if she had been there.

She sat there for a few moments thinking about the vision--if vision is what she had seen. With a start she realized that she was the only one left.

She shook her head not wanting to believe it. But no matter how many times she thought about it she know it was true.

The New Recruits--all died to allow the Animorphs safe passage abroad the Pool Ship--all except Rachel.

Rachel had instead had gone onto the Blade Ship to kill Tom. She had succeeded but had died in the process.

Then the boys--Ax captured on a mission, a few years after Rachel's death, and integrated into "The One", as she had learned from her dream. Then the rest of them while hunting down the remnants of the Yeerk Empire.

Suddenly sadness overcame Cassie when she realized and excepted it. There was nothing to do about it , so she hung her head and cried over the loss over her friends, and some of the finest people that had ever lived.

The End

Sorry, I know the ending's cheesy. But I needed some way to actually end the thing, so sorry.
