Disclaimer: I don't own Cowboy Bebop or any of the characters. I don't own the song Shiver, which is by Coldplay either, nor do I claim to own either of them, so please don't sue me!

AN: I know this may all be a little OOC, but this is just my view. And please RnR!!

Spike sat on his little cloud, his wings tucked behind him. He sat staring down at the Bebop, wondering how everyone was. He wasn't angry that he had died, just upset that he found out that he was living too late. Those brief minutes before he died, he knew he was alive. He wanted Jet and Faye to know that; they were the closest he had to family and he figured they should know. He had asked if he could go talk to them, but the head angel had said 'no, not unless you want to give up your wings and become a ghost'. Spike couldn't figure out what to do. Being a ghost didn't sound to great, but he wanted to talk to his friends once more.

"Hey!" he called to the head angel, "Take your wings back!" A second later he was onboard the Bebop, in his old room. It hadn't been touched since he was last there. Everything was so quiet on the ship, except for one small sound, Faye crying in her room across the hall. He slipped out of his room and into hers.

"'If you love someone, set them free, if they return, it was meant to be' they say. Yea, unless he goes and gets himself killed, and you let him go," Faye was mumbling between sobs.

"Faye…don't cry over me. Please don't cry," Spike said, hating to see her like that. "You're too strong for tears, remember that? You told me that. You told me you never cried. Why cry over me?" He asked.

"Oh Spike, you idiot! Why'd you have to go? You knew you were going to die! Why didn't you just stay here with me?" Faye sobbed even louder, not knowing he was in the room.

So I look in your direction

But you pay me no attention, do you?

I know you don't listen to me

'Cos you say you see straight through me, don't you?
