Chapter 1
Fifteen year old Sakura Kinomoto walked out the gate of her house towards school. Her first day at Seijou High. It's been four years since she had transformed the Clow Cards to Sakura Cards. Since then, everything has been pretty quiet.
Four years ago, she had promised an eleven year old Syaoran that she would wait for his return. Since that day, she has changed dramatically. She almost never smiled and the childhood heart she had was replaced with sorrow and regret.
Regret that she had not told him her feelings sooner. Maybe then would he have stayed.
Since Syaoran had left, any have asked her out, thinking that Syaoran was not there to stop them. Whenever someone asked her out, Syaoran would usually scare them away with one of his famous death glares. Even with Syaoran in Hong Kong, she refused them all except for one.
This was Yinako. He looked very similar to Syaoran. He had brown hair that fell to his intense amber eyes.
However, he could never have the same gentle soul that could be so kind to her yet become so strong at the first sign of danger. She was not as happy around Yinako as she was with Syaoran, but she never showed her doubts, thinking she would make the relationship work.
With all the thinking, she had lost track of time and was soon standing in front of the school.
At School
"Hi, Sakura," said Tomoyo Daidouji, her long time best friend, always with a smile on her face and a video camera in her hand.
"Oh, hi Tomoyo."
"Sakura, I think Yinako was waiting for you. He was wondering where you were,"
"Oh. I forgot to set my alarm clock. I still woke up on time, but Kero wanted pancakes. I wonder if he ever gets full."
