Chapter 1
The Strings
My second fic I haven't gotten the hang of it yet. ^_^
The room was cold and gray; mist swirled over the hard, rock floor. A drip of water fell from the sealing and on to the cheek of a blond haired girl. Mina opened her eyes and blinked a few times before realizing where she was and what had happened. Her headache was more than she could bear but she had more important things to do. She sat up and looked around for her fellow sailor scouts. They where all there, on the floor, unconscious. She rushed over to Serena and checked her pulse. It was study but a little irregular; as it would if she had been drugged with valium. all the other scouts where the same. There was a fiddling with the lock on the door and the door knob turned.
"Well, well, well. What have we got here?" a woman said as she entered the room. Another woman with red- brown hair, and a silver wolf followed her into the gray cell.
"It seems that one of the sleeping beauties has woken up." said the other woman.
"Yes it appears to be that way." Said the first, her voice with a bitter tone.
"Shall I take care of that my lady?" asked the wolf to the first woman. He came up to push his head under her hand. She petted him with white hands. her hair was black and short. the second woman whipped out a fan and bean to wave it.
"No, I want to." she said.
"I will." said the black haired woman, cracking her knuckles. Sailor V looked down and prepared herself for the blow. The wolf and the other woman stood behind her to make sure she couldn't dodge it. The black haired woman raised her fist...
"Stop," a female said. Though she could not see where the voice was coming from, Mina could tell it was a young girl about 9. "Bring her to me, Kikiro." Kikiro lowered her fist and bowed as if the girl where in the room. the woman with the fan waved and twirled it then pulled back. Mina jerked forward as if she was controlled by invisible strings. The wolf picked her up onto his back as Kikiro blindfolded Mina. As they left the room, the fan woman called back to the other scouts, " Sajiki says, sleep tight." and blew a kiss. The door shut and they proceeded to walk.
Sailor V woke up to the sound of talking.
"Sajiki thinks girl is strong and worth effort." Sajiki said,
"I agree, she would be worth the effort. There is no doubt my lady is keeping her, I just hope that she keeps the prince as well." Kikiro said as she turned a door knob.
"my lady here is the girl." exclaimed Kikiro. With a tug from the strings Mina fell to the floor. Soft hands began to untie the blindfold. When it was off, Mina looked around at the room: the walls where a deep red and the floors black. The only window in the room was in front of a large thrown.
"Bring her to me." Sajiki walked over to the thrown, tugging Mina with her by the cords.
"Sajiki believes that her name is Mina." Sajiki bowed. The girl on the thrown had long black hair in an Asian style bun with green eyes. her red silk dress had a black embroidered dragon on it.
"Why do you hunt us down?" asked the girl,
"Why do you take children, shave their heads, and kill their families? We hunt you down because its not right!" Mina yelled.
"Yes, we do that, but its for a good cause."
"What good cause? I see no cause" Mina was out raged.
"Enough! do not talk to Lady Jikio that way!" screamed Kikiro.
"No! I wont stop! Tell me why?!!!" the strings tightened around her arms, legs, and throat.
"Even if I told you, you wouldn't understand."
"Exactly, I wouldn't understand because there is no logical reason!!!!!" Sajiki flicked four of the strings which caused her to bleed. the cord around the throat got tighter and tighter...
