A/N: This story was started by me (Val) and Caitie, one of my friends. I found it awhile ago and decided I really still like it so I typed it up for
you all to read. It's a crossover (My first one) between, In A Heartbeat and The Pretender. It takes place as Reagan, Shawn, Jackie, and Chris are
playing the tv series, In A Heartbeat. And Jarod comes to do his job, as the pretender and to be a chater in, In A Heartbeat. The parts for

4 EMT's, Jarod, And A Killer
Reagan and Shawn are outside the studio during a break of shooting for there tv series, In A Heartbeat. They were kissing, and after a few
minutes, Shawn speaks up, "I wish they could fit me and you, as 'Tyler and Val', in to going out. In the show, ya know?"
"Yeah, we should talk to them about it. So are we goin out tonight after work?" Reagan asked while looking into his eyes.
"Yeah, sure. I'm glad we didn't wait as long as we do for the show to be girlfriend and boyfriend."
"Yeah I know what you mean Shawn." They lean back in for another kiss.
Jake, (Lean-dean-the-rebound-machine) sees, Shawn and Reagan kissing and whispers to one of his friends, "I can't stand this anymore, you
have to get rid of him some how...." He hands his 'friend' a hunk of cash.
Just than the dictor came out, "OK people. Back to work."

Jarod is at a prade, and he sees a women with long dark hair. She shoots him and runs to the nearest hospital. A guy seen that he was bleeding
and called the EMT's.
"Sir My name is Hank, this is Val, Tyler, and Jamie. Were EMT's. You need to tell us what happened,"

"Cut that's a rap for today. I will seee you tomorrow bright and early." The director told the actors, and actress.
Reagan goes over to Jarod, "Hi, my name is Reagan and the guy over there who just stormed off is my boyfriend, Shawn. This is danso, and
this is Chris."
Just as she finished Jake came up to them, "I don't see why he is so upset. Just beacause his brother is in the hospital, in a coma."
"What happend to who's brother?" Jarod asked, thinking this is why i was sent here.
"Shawn, my boyfriend, his twin brother, Aaron, was shoot. They don't know by who, and he is in a coma at the hospital." Reagan told Jarod.
"Really? Well I'll see you guys tomorrow."
"OK bye."
They all get up and head for home. Jarod opens his red book and sees a news paper cliping of:
"Brother Of Shawn Ashmore Shoot; And In A Coma."
