They look at her expectantly, but all she can offer is a weak smile. She turns as she hears steps from behind her and grins when she realizes that Kay followed her out.
Kate looks at the group and cringes at the thought of having to face them all, she walks up to John. He looks up as she nears, but makes no move to get up.
