Ron's Christmas Present
"Happy Christmas, Ron!" Hermione called to him. Ron stopped abruptly in the hallway.
"Hi, 'Mione," He'd been calling her by that nickname since they began dating, several months ago, at the beginning of their sixth year. "Hey, uh, Hermione, I got you something," He pulled a box out of his bag, it was covered in red shiny wrapping paper with a big green bow, with green ribbons.
"Oh, well, Thank you!" Hermione said, smiling, as he handed it to her. She thought it was very sweet of him to get something for her, and she'd been working on his. She was planning on giving it to him tonight, by the fire.
"Don't open it here though, okay?" Ron said, blushing a little.
"Alright, well I'll go to my room and open it know," She winked at him and turned. Ron gave her a quick hug before she left. She secretly wished it was longer, she loved the feeling of being in his arms. As soon as she was in the privacy of her bed chamber, she carefully pulled off the wrapping paper. Hermione was really curious as to what it could be, for it was very light.
At first when she opened it, Hermione thought it was empty, but a with a deeper look, she say a single piece of parchment lying in the bottom. It said:
To Miss Granger,
This box may look empty
But don't judge on what you see
For really it's full of kisses
Blown to you from me!
So whenever you are sad
Lonely, hurt, or blue
Just open up this box
And remember, I love you!
Love always,
Ronald
Hermione's heart burst into whatever the opposite of tears is. She was so happy, and overjoyed. "How very sweet of Ron! I never knew he was a poet!" Hermione began laughing in spite. She pulled out one of the kisses from the box, and then went downstairs to get a real one from Ron.
"You are so wonderful! I'm so lucky to have you!" Hermione threw her arms around him "I love you!!!" She said as he gave her a nice big real kiss, on the lips!
"Happy Christmas, 'Mione."
