Author's notes: This is my very first story, so please bear it with me. This story consists of new characters, time and place.
Long, long time ago, during the time of the Silver Millennium, there was a couple who were madly in love, Princess Serena from the Moon Kingdom and Prince Darien from the planet Earth. Everything was beautiful and peaceful, however this does not last long when the battle between the Moon Kingdom and Queen Beryl from the Nega Moon has just begun. Hence, the Princess was separated from her lover because Prince Darien was to defend her Kingdom; nevertheless they vowed to each other that after the battle was over, they would to be married, so the Princess gave her Prince the star locket that held the most beautiful music. Little did they know that thing will not goes as they planned, as Queen Beryl fell in love with the Prince of the Earth.
"Prince Darien" the Queen declared "I will give you another chance to choose your fate, between being alive and ruled the Universe with me or died with despair".
The Prince looked over at his beloved and then made up his mind, "I will never betrayed my beloved…and I will never wanting to be with you" he stated. The statement made Princess Serena smiled and in return the Prince smiled back.
Queen Beryl was very furious at the Prince, as her face become redder and her teeth were gritted, "Fine!! Then you should DIE here," she snapped. "But who should die first?" with that she uses her power to create some sort of force that made Prince Darien floated above the ground and was directed towards her.
Princess Serena as watching from below, she saw everything and did not want to lose her Prince, so she jumped up and grabbed Prince Darien's legs and hang on tightly. At the same time, Queen Serenity was trying to use her crystal power to save the Moon Kingdom and her daughter, however it was too late as Queen Beryl already produced some dark force of energy ball that hurl straight at eh Queen. It was too late for Queen Serenity to get out from the spot. With her final strength she called out "SERENAAA…….." then fell to the ground.
"MOTHER…..NOOO!!" she looked down to see her mother fell and her tears begin to flow from her eyes, she couldn't see her mother's body clearly now because her eyes were flooded with tears. "I'm sorry mother" she mouth. She knew deep down that there is no way she is going to turn back, so she turned back to faced to worst nightmare.
To Queen Beryl, this was the victory she would never forget as she always wishing and waiting for the moment of the downfall of Queen Serenity and the Moon Kingdom. Now, she was satisfied that her wish finally comes true.
"Hahahaha…is this how the great Queen Serenity and the lovely Moon Kingdom should be ended?" she laughed, and with one last energy, she blown up the Palace into pieces.
Princess Serena stared in silence with anger and horror looked on her face. She never thought that her own home and her mother will be ended this way, she was angry that she was too weak and powerless to do anything except watched as her home, where she lived and grew up in blown up into pieces. She cried and cried until her tears can no logger come out, then she saw nothing more as blackness enclosed in…
