This is just me trying to be funny, please R+R and tell me what you think. Just so you know this is my first attempt at this. It was originally a mail to my friend…

Very disturbing news.

Hullo Lily.

How are things down in Tookbank? Things here in Willowbottom are pretty much the same, but we did get some disturbing news here the other day. I'll start from the beginning; Frodo came over for supper, as he often does, to give me some news of the happenings in the heart of Hobbiton. He said that he had very much been looking forward to a visit from Gandalf, but things had sadly taken a turn for the worse. Apparently Gandalf had brought with him some fireworks, which I thought was right nice off him. Frodo thought so too, but then the next day, Merry and Pippin came over for afternoon tee, and to remeniss a little of their little adventure. Anyways, after a while Pippin found about the fireworks, and being the nosy little Hobbit that we all know him to be, he went looking for them. Gandalf, of course, was sitting by the fireplace enjoying his pipe-weed. It smelt kind of funny, said Frodo. After a while Gandalf jumped out of his chair and ran to where he had hid the fireworks, and of course, there was Pippin trying to light on up. Gandalf was furious and grabbed Pippin by his ear, yelling in some foreign language. After a while, still holding Pippin by the ear, he picked up a pretty big rocket and looked at Pippin, who at this time was very pale. "I know what you're thinking," Gandalf said, "You're thinking: If that rocket was a suppository, would that bad wizard stick it up my ass? Well, if you even come near my fireworks again, boy, I'll stick it so far up your ass, you'll be able to fly to the moon!!!" After that he let Pippin go and left. According to Frodo Pippin is still very much in shock, but who can blame him. Frodo is very sad, "The other hobbits already had problems with because of the dragon, this won't help one bit," he said. I feel very sorry for him, can't understand that Gandalf would do such a thing to a young naive Hobbit. I'm guessing that he got his hands on some bad mushrooms before dinner, or maybe there was something wrong with his pipe- weed, I mean since Frodo said it smelled so funny. I don't know, just hope that Pippin will be ok, and that Frodo also will be happy again. He's been through too much already.

Hope it's more quiet in Tookbank, Frodo sends his regards.

Pansy.
