THE GREAT PLAUGE BEGINS
Thunderfoot was now all grown up she had a mate named Whiptail and a herd. Then one day the plants they depended upon started to die off. One night a terrible storm occurred and Thunderfoot's grandparents, aunts, uncles and several siblings were lost. The herd was now down to her, her mother, father, a brother and her mate. She was expecting eggs. The herd had decided that they would strike out for the Great Valley Thunderfoot's father lead the way. One day a volcano erupted and there was a terrible earth quake. Thunderfoot was seperated from her mate and brother and her mate's family. Her parents and she continued on. One night she laid her eggs. Several nights later on a stormy night her only egg started to hatch. An egg-stealer snatched it but she stopped the thief. She looked down at her egg and it hatched. And you all know what happens next Littlefoot is born and The Land Before Time Series begins. That's how it all started. Littlefoot's Family would one day tell him these stories.
