Ranma sat in the tree watching the busy Tendo house as they got ready for the wedding.
She said I took her for granted
That's the last thing I would do

"Ranma I hate you! I never want to see you again! Consider our engagement off! Isn't that what you wanted!" Akane yelled at him, tears streaming down her face.
"Yeah! Maybe I did!" Ranma yelled back.

But she couldn't see the flame

Ranma shook his head as he remembered that night. A single tear traced his face.
'Why did I say that?'
A heart full of words left unspoken

Ranma looked into one of the windows as Akane walked by in her white dress. 'Why didn't I tell you I loved you? Why was I such a jerk to you?' Tears came more freely down his face.
"Akane, I'm sorry. I love you, Akane," he whispered as he watched her laugh and smile on her wedding day.

Ranma remembered when Akane walked up to him the day she got engaged.
"Ranma?"
"Yes Akane?"
"Ryoga asked me to marry him today."
"He did?"
"Yes, he did. The wedding is going to be this summer. I do wish that you would come."
Ranma stared at her, heartbroken.
"I- I don't know, Akane. I'll… I'll think about it."
Akane nodded, turned and walked away. She was un aware of the tears that were beginning to stream down Ranma's face.
