Authors Note: Hi! I'm back with a much better story with more of a plot. It
may have longer chapters, but I can't be sure since I haven't really
started. So, on with the show!…book…story…ummmmm…nevermind.
Disclaimer: Don't arrest me! Its not mine! It all belongs to the great one, the high and mighty J.K. Rowling!
Summer is wonderful, especially right in the middle of July. Lily Royer (I refuse to use Evans for Lily's last name!) sat under a large Ash tree, enjoying some lemonade with her friend Molly.
"Look, Molly, two birds, coming right at us." Lily mumbled sleepily. "Oh." said Molly. They weren't just birds though. They were owls. "Lily, those aren't any old birds. They're owls!" Molly screeched.
Lily sprang up immediately. "Eeeeeeeek!" she screamed playfully, dodging one. The other one dropped a letter on Molly's head. "Ouch!" she yelled, scrunching up her face. The other did a loop-the-loop in the air and dropped his letter into Lily's lap.
"At least yours is polite." grumbled Molly. "Well, we might as well open the notes." Lily giggled. Owl-sighting had made her hyper. "Oh, yeah." Molly said, brightening up. The letters said the normal Hogwarts stuff (I don't have time to type all of it up!) with one exception. "Who would ever want to own a pig?" Lily asked after reading her letter. "Oh my!" Molly mouthed.
The letters were, of course, letters excepting them into Hogwarts. The letters were so…real…seeming that the girls both believed immediately. "We're goin' ta' Hogwarts!" Lily sang. Then she got up and did a little dance. "Lily! Be practical. Would if our parents say no?" Molly scolded, always sophisticated. "Oh, balderdash." replied Lily, sitting down again. "So lets go ask!" Lily yelled, almost as a second thought. "Yeah!"
